Rules and Regulations

*All inquiries on “Your best chance to win a million” & “Best odds in Ontario” are to be made to the licensee prior to the purchase of ticket(s). This opinion is based on information available to the licensee on health care lotteries in the greater Toronto area at the time of printing.
There are only 85,000 tickets available to be sold. The total number of prizes to be awarded is 26,066. The total value of all prizes is $5,099,441.42 (inclusive of all applicable taxes and freight). Only ticket(s) that have been paid for, and have been verified as paid for, or won as prizes, are eligible for respective draws. In the event of an invalid cheque or credit card payment, ticket(s) issued will be considered void and you will be notified in writing.
Tickets are $100 each, 3 for $250 or 6 for $450. All tickets in a 3-Pack or 6-Pack must contain the same name and mailing address and can only be mailed to the address of the primary purchaser. Tickets cannot be purchased in the name of a minor. You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a ticket. In the event that a winning ticket is held in more than one name, it is the liberty of the primary ticket holder to share winning information with those parties. Tickets must be purchased in Ontario. Tickets are not tax deductible.
Winning tickets will be drawn under the supervision of MiraTel Solutions Inc. After each winning token is drawn and recorded, it is returned to the drum and is eligible for all other subsequent draws. All prizes must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions except where a cash alternative option is specified. In the event you have won a prize with a cash alternative, the winner will be notified in writing and a waiver form will need to be signed and returned to the SickKids Foundation before receiving the prize(s). Prize(s) must be claimed within one year after the final draw date. Prizes may not be exactly as shown.

Cash-out values are as follows: VIP Draw** Vehicle: 2008 Toyota Camry (CASH VALUE is $30,000); Final Draw Vehicle #1: 2008 Maserati Quattroporte (CASH VALUE is $145,000); Final Draw Vehicle #2 2008 BMW Z4 Roadster 3.0si (CASH VALUE is $60,000); Final Draw Vehicle #3 2008 Mini Cooper Clubman (CASH VALUE is $25,000). In total, there are 89,450 tickets to be printed (85,000 available for sale and 4,450 will be awarded as Early Bird prizes).
All draws will take place at the offices of MiraTel Solutions Inc., located at 2501 Steeles Avenue West, Suite 200, Toronto, Ontario M3J 2P1. The draws will begin each day at 9:00 a.m.
**VIP Draw (1 prize draw) will take place on May 13, 2008. To be eligible for the VIP Draw, tickets must be purchased by midnight April 25, 2008. The VIP Draw is open to all Ontario residents.
The Early Bonus Draw (25 prize draws) will take place on June 17, 2008. To be eligible for the Early Bonus Draw, tickets must be purchased by midnight May 30, 2008.
The Early Bird Draw (4,451 prize draws) will take place on July 24, 2008. To be eligible for the Early Bird Draw, tickets must be purchased by midnight June 26, 2008.
The Grand Prize Draw and Vehicle Draws (1 Grand Prize draw and 3 vehicles draws) will be conducted on July 28, 2008. The Grand Prize draw will be conducted first and the three vehicle prize draws will be conducted next.
Final Draws (21,585 prize draws) the remaining final prize draws will begin on July 28, 2008 until completion on or before August 1, 2008 with the prize of least retail value being drawn first to the prize with the highest retail value being drawn last. To be eligible for the Final draws, tickets must be purchased before midnight July 11, 2008.
On August 15, 2008, there will be an advertisement in The Toronto Star announcing all major prize winners. In addition, a complete list of winners will be available online at www.SickKidsLottery.ca. A printed list will be available at the SickKids Foundation upon request, or ticket purchasers may call 1-888-501-KIDS (5437) to find out if they are a winner. All winners will be notified by mail with complete instructions on how to redeem their prize. Those winners who have won major prizes may also be contacted by phone. Winners agree to the use of their name and photo for publicity purposes by SickKids Foundation. SickKids Foundation respects the privacy of its lottery supporters; we do not sell, rent or trade our supporter lists. The information we collect is used to process lottery ticket purchases, keep our supporters informed about the activities of the hospital and Foundation, and ask for their support for our mission to improve children's health. If at any time you wish to be excluded from such contacts, call us at 416-813-6166, and we will accommodate your request. By entering this lottery, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the rules and regulations and confirm that I am at least 18 years of age.
The following persons are prohibited from purchasing a ticket: Members of the SickKids Foundation's Board of Directors, Lottery Advisory Committee, hospital Board of Trustees, Foundation staff; members of the Hospital for Sick Children Executive Team, employees of registered gaming suppliers, and members of the same household of each of the above. The liability of the licensee of this lottery shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket.
